Greenfield police investigate four armed robberies

The Greenfield Police Department is looking for the suspects responsible for several armed robberies over a span of two weeks.

According to police, two men have robbed four businesses along El Camino Real between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m. from January 9 th to the 21 st .

The suspects park a vehicle in a rear alley or side street and then enter the business wearing black and grey ski masks, gloves and hoodie sweatshirts.

The pair, armed with semi-automatic handguns and revolvers, then demand money from the cash register and order cashiers to get on the floor.

During one of the robberies, the suspects tried to conceal their identities by speaking in high-pitched voices.

One suspect is described as having a medium/stocky build, 5’5″ to 5’6″, 180-200 pounds with a light complexion and a mustache.

The second suspect is described as having a medium/thin build, 5’10” to 6’0″, 190-200 pounds.

One of the suspects may also have light or hazel eyes.

Police say there also may be one to two more suspects in a get-away vehicle.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored, possibly maroon, four door compact sedan.
