King City mom behind bars on attempted murder charge

King City Police arrested a 24-year-old mother for attempted murder after responding to a domestic violence call.

On January 19, officers responded to the 400 block of S. Third Street. The victim was stabbed by the mother of his children. The victim was taken to the hospital, treated, and is expected to survive.

Officers arrested Yesenia Diaz Juarez, 24, King City. She was booked into the Monterey County Jail for attempted murder, domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, and child endangerment.
