Three arrests made during Monterey County parolee sweep
On Tuesday, three people were arrested during a check on parolees by the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office SAFE Team.
Deputies said Johnny Manriquez, 48, and Christina Pitre, 45, were arrested at a home in the 20000 block of Spence Rd. in Salinas for methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The search included a sweep of 290 registered parolees in Monterey County.
Charles Bailey, 35, was also arrested during the sweep at a home in the 33000 block of Gloria Rd. in Gonzales. Deputies said Bailey admitted to being high on marijuana and was arrested for violating the terms of his parole.
