Driver robbed at gunpoint in Monterey Monday evening
A driver was robbed in a parking lot in Monterey Monday evening, according to police.
Officers said a man armed with a handgun approached the victim who was in a parked car at 1042 Del Monte Ave. around 10:11PM and demanded money. The man got away with some money and ran away on foot toward Lake St., according to police.
The man was described as light-skinned African American, 20-30, stocky build, black jacket and blue jeans.
