One man dead after Thursday night shooting in Salinas
One man is dead after a shooting incident in Salinas on Thursday night, which marks the 28th homicide this year.
It happened just before 10:00 p.m. near the intersection of North Hebron and East Street.
When police arrived on scene, they found 47-year-old Cesareo Meza Ruiz suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Meza-Ruiz was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
Two suspects dressed in dark clothing were seen running from the area, but no other suspect information is available at this time.
