Deputies raid chop shop in Santa Cruz county
An anonymous tip led authorities to a chop shop in Santa Cruz county that had over a dozen stolen motorcycles, trucks, cars and a trailer.
At 9 a.m. Tuesday, Santa Cruz County deputies along with the Santa Cruz Auto Theft Task Force, recovered the stolen property on the 400 block of Diane Way in Boulder Creek.
The stolen vehicles are from Santa Cruz County, Oakland, Mountain View and Santa Clara County. Many of the vehicles were in the process of being dismantled, according to authorities.
Deputies arrested Julia Cabibi, 31, for possession of controlled substance, possession of stolen vehicles and felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. She was booked into the Santa Cruz County jail with bail set at $5,000.
