Hartnell College taken off warning list, accreditation reaffirmed
On Tuesday, Hartnell College announced its accreditation has been returned and has been taken off a warning list.
College officials Hartnell was taken off the list after the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges completed a review of the college and a visit in April.
This comes after 12 recommendations were issued to Hartnell two years ago to remove the college from probation status.
More than 15,000 students attend classes through the Hartnell Community College District with campuses in Salinas, East Salinas, King City and various outreach learning centers in the Salinas Valley.
