City of Salinas still reporting phone service outages

Monday the City of Salinas put out notifications that staff in certain city buildings were experiencing a partial outage. The outage had occurred on Friday due to the strong winds and heavy rain.

Crews have been working since to restore service, but there are still about 100 city government lines that remain down.

Affected locations include:
Animal Shelter
Bread Box Recreation Center
City Hall: some phones
El Gabilan Library
Hebbron Family Center
Permit Center: 1st and 2nd floors
Police Department: some phones
Public Services Yard
Recreation Center
Technicians expect the interruption to last at least through Monday.
