Police: seeking victims of a man accused of lewd acts with a child

Morgan Hill Police Department is asking anyone who may have been a victim of 52-year-old John Arthur Loyd or know anyone who may have been a victim to come forward.

Police said Loyd, a teacher at Paradise Valley Elementary School, was arrested on Oct. 2 for lewd and lascivious acts with a child. They say four other victims have been identified.

The police department said Loyd has worked at many elementary schools in the Hollister School District from 1999 through 2000. They said he was also a director at Nordstrom Child Development Center in Morgan Hill from 1992 through 1995 and was a Youth Leader and Camp Director with the East Valley YMCA and South Valley Family YMCA from mid 80s to early 90s.
