Amber alert issued out of Pomona cancelled
UPDATE: Amber alert cancelled after the man allegedly responsible turned himself in, according to Los Angeles news organizations.
An amber alert has been issued out of Pomona Friday night after California Highway Patrol says two girls and a woman were abducted by Pete Adame at gunpoint.
The girls are Adame’s biological children.
Officers say he assaulted his former girlfriend before releasing her at an unknown location and then fleeing with his two daughters.
Aurora Akira Adame, a four-year-old with brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a pink shirt with a heart and cheetah print spandex pants.
The second girl’s name is Valarie Persaea Adame, a two-year-old with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with flowers on the shoulders and black pants.
The suspect is described as a 43-year-old Hispanic man, with black hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’11”, 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white undershirt and light blue pants with a light blue stripe.
Adame is possibly driving a 2013 Gray Jeep Patriot with CA license plate number 7CJF267.
