Monterey Bay Aquarium now on Google Maps Street View
A (virtual) tour of the Monterey Bay Aquarium is now available in the comfort of your own home.
The aquarium joins a number of other global spots — including the White House, the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tour — that are featured in Google Maps Street View.
The galleries appear online in 360-degree splendor, including the Kelp Forest exhibit, the Aviary and the Open Sea exhibit.
Google Map’s Street View team mapped the aquarium in May 2013, using the Google Trolley to map the inside, and the Google Trekker outside.
