Deadly motorcycle crash on Highway 101

California Highway Patrolis investigating a deadly crash just north of Gilroy in San Martin.

TheCHP dispatch website reports a motorcyclist was hit on Highway 101 at the San Martin exit around 6pm.

The website said the motorcyclist died in the crash and several lanes were shut down for a few hours. Witnesses reported seeing the motorcyclist racing with another car.

CHP saidlanes are back open now.
