Undercover drug sting operation lands three in jail

An undercover drug sting operation out of Santa Cruz landed three people in jail. This comes after the police department says it received numerous complaints about drug dealing within the city.

Police say within minutes of the operation an undercover officer was led to 49-year-old Terry Spann to purchase drugs. Both Spann and another man Thomas Kehler were eventually arrested on suspicion of drug possession with the intention to sell it.

Later on in the investigation, 39-year-old Eric Cash was also arrested for selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer as well.
