Capitola bank robbed Tuesday afternoon
Capitola police are seeking a man who they say robbed the Citibank on the corner of 41st Avenue and Clares Street Tuesday afternoon.
Police received reports of a robbery at the bank just after 1 p.m. The suspect apparently entered the bank, handed the teller a note demanding money and then left with an undisclosed sum of cash. No weapon was seen and no one was injured. It was not immediately known how much money the man made off with.
The suspect is described as a white male, roughly 30 to 35 years in age, wearing a black hat and sunglasses, a black shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and black pants.
The same bank also was robbed late last month.
Police did not immediately say if they believe the two incidents are connected.
