Three Suspects Arrested in Salinas Homicide

Police have arrested three people for a weekend murder that happened on Boronda Road near Mckinnon Street.

The victim, 24-year-old Eduardo Guijosa, was riding his bicycle when he was shot to death.

According to police, Antonio Lopez, Alejandro Saldana and Richard Vasquez were waiting for Guijosa in a vehicle. Once the victim rode past them, the three suspects opened fire, said police.

Police said they were able to find the vehicle that was used in the shooting later that night, all three suspects were still inside.

Lopez, Saldana and Vasquez were booked into Monterey County Jail for Murder and participating in criminal street gang activity.
