Santa Cruz County Suspends All Burn Permits During Dry Season

Calfire in Santa Cruz County says it’s suspending all burn permits because of the dry weather.

After several brush fires popped up across the Central Coast these past couple of months, Calfire says it doesn’t want to risk a fire spreading.

So far there is no word on how long the permits will be suspended.
