Pet of the Week: Meet Theodore!

Meet Theodore! This 1-year old handsome pup is ready to find his furever home! Theodore came to Animal Friends Pet Project from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after he was hit by a car and his hind leg was severely injured. The good news; he's made a full and amazing recovery!

Theodore (or Tito as his fosters fondly call him) may be small but he's convinced he might as well be a Mastiff! This little guy is packed full of charm and love and small-dog energy! His fosters say any toy that he can reach is automatically his favorite toy, but he doesn't let those little legs stop him!

Theodore does well with other dogs and shows playful interest in cats, but any pet in his new family will need to be introduced slowly over time. He will do best in a family with adult adopters or children over the age of six that will continue his positive socialization and training.

Theodore is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be scheduled once your online application has been received and approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org to apply today!

You can also go to their adoption event at the Monterey Bay F.C. game this Saturday, June 22nd from 3pm to 7pm. They are also running a Summer Adoption Special from June 20th-September 22nd for our Long-Term Animals (animals who have been in their care for 6+ Months)- Dogs-$30 Cats- $15.
