Pet of the Week: Meet Olivia!
Olivia’s brother was featured on Pet of the Week two weeks ago. They were both part of a 5-week-old litter being given away in Soledad to any passersby who would take them. The first family who took them quickly realized they were overwhelmed caring for such young kittens and surrendered them to Our Neighborhood Pet Project. Her brother, Oliver, was featured 2 weeks ago and this time it's Olivia's turn!
Olivia is a 9-week-old orange tabby kitten, and only about 20% of orange tabby kittens are girls. She has been a typical young kitten, curious and playful, and gets along with everyone. Olivia is fostered with other kittens and loves her cat mountain toy. She has become a purr monster, and every time you pick her up for cuddles, she immediately starts purring loudly.
Olivia’s also become quite talkative, making comments whenever she’s playing with you. Olivia’s small size and high activity level means she would thrive in an active home with children over five years of age. She has already demonstrated that she can get along with other cats and dogs.
If you'd like to adopt Olivia or another animal, you can submit an application at https://www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org. Their next adoption event is in two weeks, on May 4th, at the Salinas Farmers Market from 10 am to 2 pm.
