Pet of the Week: Meet Fillmore!

Meet Fillmore! Fillmore is an adorable 9-week-old orange tabby boy. He was initially very shy, but is quickly coming out of his shell, and is a smart, curious, and playful kitten who is happily living with other foster kittens and learning vital kitten skills through constant playing. Fillmore is also getting time with several small dogs.

Fillmore was trapped by himself in a mobile home community in Soledad when he was only seven weeks old. Several other kittens were also trapped in the same community and all are now being fostered by Our Neighborhood Pet Project in Salinas. Fillmore will be getting neutered shortly and will be ready for adoption!

Because he’s so young, he would do best in an active home, and any children should be over five years of age. We also recommend a home where other companions, two- or four-legged, be present most of the day.

Our Neighborhood Pet Project is a home-based rescue that has foster cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and colors available for adoption.

Their next adoption event is next Saturday, May 4th, at the Salinas Farmers Market from 10 am to 2 pm.
