Pet of the Week: Meet Oliver!
Meet Oliver! Oliver and his sister Olivia were part of a 5-week-old litter being given away in Soledad to any passersby who would take them. A family that initially took three quickly realized they were overwhelmed caring for so many young kittens and turned to Our Neighborhood Pet Project for help.
They surrendered Oliver and Olivia, who are now being fostered in Greenfield until they are old enough for adoption. Oliver will be getting neutered in a few weeks and will be ready for adoption after
that.
Oliver and his sister are typical young kittens, very active and working hard to develop their playing skills. He’s currently working on his pouncing and stalking skills using both his toys and his sister! Oliver is already a purr monster, seeking human contact and purring immediately and loudly whenever he gets attention. Because he’s so young, he would do best in an active home, with children over five years of age.
Our Neighborhood Pet Project is a home-based rescue that has foster cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and colors available for adoption. Their next adoption event is Saturday, May 4th, at the Salinas Farmers Market from 10 AM to 2 PM.
