Pet of the Week: Meet Weasley
Weasley is a 4-month-old boy who came into Our Neighborhood Pet
Project’s (ONPP) care at about nine weeks old when he was found by a
family in King City.
This handsome boy is known as a flame point Siamese
because he’s mostly white with only ginger-colored ears and tails. His
finders thought that splash of orange was perfect for a name from the
Harry Potter story.
Weasley is a lively kitten who loves to engage with people and play with
his toys. He’s very friendly, immediately approaches people to get pets,
and has been growing comfortable with being held. Weasley’s a medium
energy kitten who purrs constantly while being petted.
You’ll notice Weasley has a pink nose and blue eyes. That means he’s very susceptible
to skin cancer and must be an indoor only cat. He gets along with other
kittens but we haven’t evaluated him with dogs yet.
Our Neighborhood Pet Project is a home-based rescue that has foster cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and colors available for adoption.
Their next adoption event will be this weekend at Pet Food Express in Carmel from 10 am to 2 pm.
