KION Pet of the Week: Meet Natasha!

KION's Pet of the Week for April 24, 2025 is a chill pup named Natasha!

Natasha is described by the Animal Friends Rescue Project as one of the best, well-mannered house guest.

The non-profit says Natasha is both crate and house-trained and knows how to occupy herself if needed.

She knows basic commands, too, like "sit" and "down" and is still trying to learn the "stay" command but AFRP says she's smart and will understand it with a little persistence and some treats.

Natasha would prefer a home with another playful, confident dog as a canine companion, but would also do well as an only dog. AFRP says it's unclear how she'll do with cats but introductions to an animal in the home should be done gradually.

Natasha would also prefer a home with adult adopters or families with children over the age of 6 who are able to keep her active and continue positive socialization. She will, however, require a fenced yard.
