Pet of the Week: Meet Goose!
CENTRAL COAST, CALIF. (KION-TV)- Meet 7 month old Goose! Goose is a pitbull-mix puppy who was sent to Animal Friends Rescue Project from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services after testing positive for parvovirus. Goose has recovered and is thriving in her foster home.
She loves other dogs and is crate-trained and almost 100% potty-trained! Since she is still a baby, AFRP is looking for a home where someone is around throughout the day to help with socialization and positive reinforcement training. She will also need a home with gentle kiddos ages 6 and over who can be patient with a new puppy in the home.
Her foster family says she is smart, playful, sweet, and amazing! Goose will likely grow to be a medium-sized dog. She will be bright and loving. AFRP is seeking active adopters with puppy experience who have the time to provide her with daily physical exercise and mental stimulation.
If you'd like to meet Goose and other animals ready for adoption, Animal Friends Rescue Project will be hosting an adoption event at Pet Food Express on Sunday January 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
