Watching For Rain

Air Quality Report (As of 7:00AM)
All reporting stations good to moderate.

High pressure continues to slowly weaken over the region as we enter the new workweek. Temperatures will continue to slide downward. Tropical moisture will begin to stream in from the south in the form of high clouds. Nearing the end of the week, a weather system will swing in from the west, juiced by tropical moisture and will likely bring rain to the California Coast. There is still some uncertainty weather the moisture will reach the Central Coast as of yet. Beyond that system, it appears as if high pressure will build back in, bringing warm dry weather once again.

Tuesday: Patchy low clouds on the coast with scattered high clouds passing through. A bit cooler, with coastal highs in the mid-60s to mid-70s and 80s-90 inland. Breezy for inland valleys in the afternoon.

Overnight: Low clouds and fog on the coast and nearby valleys. A few high clouds inland. Lows in the 40s-50s to for most areas, but 60s up in the hills.

Wednesday: Increased low clouds on the coast and a few high clouds passing through. Cooler with highs in the upper 50s to 60s on the coast and 70s-80s inland. Breezy for inland valleys in the afternoon.

Extended: Temperatures will remain cool for the end of the week as a weather system approaches from the west. We’ll see a chance of rain on Friday and Saturday, though the trend is dryer. High pressure rebuilds next week with warmer temperatures.ADVERTISING
