Temperatures will cool a little for the start of the work-week as a broad trough of low pressure invades the Pacific Northwest. Our marine layer will deepen slightly with an uptick in morning/evening low clouds. Warming expected by the end of the week.
Monday: Slightly cooler with patchy low clouds on the coast. Highs mainly in the 60s to 70s on the coast and 70s to low 90s inland.
Overnight: Widespread low clouds overnight with patchy fog. Lows in the 50s-60s for most areas with a few higher inland valleys dipping into the 40s.
Tuesday: Slightly cooler weather persists, with a few clouds near the bay. Highs mainly in the 60s to 70s on the coast and 70s to near 90s inland.
Extended: Mostly seasonable temperatures throughout the week with slow warming toward the end. Coastal drizzle Thursday. Some potential for offshore breezes over the hills late in the week and into the weekend. This could increase fire danger.
