Salinas Police says social media account making racist statements is impersonating an officer

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- Salinas Police said they are investigating racist statements made on a social media account that people accused of being a member of their department.

Salinas Police said this individual is not employed by SPD and "representations in this video are not statements or beliefs of SPD."

The social media account has since been deleted.
