Customs and Border Protection experiencing outages at airports
UPDATE 9/16/2019 3:45 p.m. Customs and Border Protection said systems affected by outages are coming back online.
CBP said it is continuing to monitor the incident, but do not believe it was malicious in nature.
PREVIOUS STORY: U.S. Customs and Border Protection is experiencing a temporary outage with its processing systems at airports.
CBP said it is working to address the issue and officers are continuing to process international travelers using alternate methods until the systems are back up.
