Castroville: Man on probation caught with stolen gun and several drugs

During a probation search in Monterey County, detectives found a man in possession of a stolen gun along with several drugs.

According to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, detectives and the County Probation Department conducted a probation search on Rico Street. During Tuesdays search, detectives found 40-year-old Epifanio Garcia with 5 ounces of methamphetamine, 1.5 ounces of Heroin, 9.8 grams of Cocaine and a stolen 380 handgun.

“Detectives also seized $1390 in US currency,” said MCSO.
