Santa Cruz Police need help identifying bank robber
UPDATE: 2/5/2018 4:07 p.m. The Santa Cruz Police Department is asking for the publics help identifying a man suspected of robbing a bank earlier this year.
Police said the man in the picture is responsible for robbing US Bank at 110 Morrissey Blvd. on January 10.
If you know who this person is, please contact Santa Cruz Police Department Investigation section at (831) 420-5820. If you see this person do not attempt to contact, just call 911. This person is considered armed and dangerous.

Police are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a bank in Santa Cruz.
According to Santa Cruz Police, the robbery took place at the US Bank at 110 Morrissey Blvd around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday (1/10). When officers arrived the suspect had already left the scene.
Witnesses told investigators that the suspect had a gun and demanded money from the bank tellers.
“During the robbery the suspect ordered the bank staff to pen the drawers, and was successful in taking an undisclosed amount of cash,” said Lt. Warren Barry.
The suspect was last seen running out of the bank into the parking lot.
Lt. Barry said, “During the investigation the police department recieved follow-up information leading them to the area of High Street.”
Officers were not able to find a suspect in the area.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a darked colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, donning sunglasses, mask and gloves.
The Santa Cruz Police Department said it’s actively investigating the bank robbery and encourage anyone with information to call the Investigation Unit at 831-420-5820.
