California man crashes Lamborghini under construction trailer
Two people escaped with minor injuries after getting a Lamborghini stuck underneath a construction trailer.
The accident happened on Saturday, Feb. 3, officers arrived at the 1600 block of Whittier Avenue around 2:10 a.m. and found a green Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera stuck under a modular construction trailer.
The driver was identified as 31-year-old Cesar Castro Rodriguez of Westminster. Police found Rodriguez with minor injuries outside of the car searching for his 25-year-old passenger.
“Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue took 45 minutes to get inside the vehicle passenger compartment due to complications including an unstable trailer and downed live wires nearby,” said Costa Mesa Police.
Investigators located the passenger two hours later at his home in Westminster with minor injuries.
Rodriguez was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence of alcohol.
