Two car crash on Highway 17

According to CHP, two cars crashed on Highway 17 near Glenwood Drive around 1:20 p.m.

Traffic was backed up for more than an hour, as officers worked to clear the road.

CHP says a driver in a Nissan 350Z tried to head northbound from Glenwood but pulled out in front of a driver in a Saturn traveling southbound on Highway 17.

The Nissan driver was sent to Dominican Hospital with minor injuries.

All lanes are back open.
