CSUMB immigration discussion set for today in Salinas

Four times a year CSUMB President Eduardo Ochoa, will host some sort of panel and this time around immigration seemed like a clear choice.

The panel discussion will be at the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas from 3:30 p.m to 5:00 p.m. Whether you have concerns yourself or just want to be more educated about immigration reforms impact, it’s open and free to the public.

“he chose immigration because it’s such a hot topic. Especially in an area where agriculture is a huge industry and so important to the economy here. So understanding that we serve that population here at cal state monterey bay, it’s important that we are here as a resource for our students, the community and families,” said CSUMB Public Affairs Noah Rappahahn.
