Firearms and narcotics arrest in North Monterey County
Detectives with a search warrant found firearms, drugs, cash and even stolen vehicles at a property in Las Lomas .
The search, at 11:50 a.m. yesterday, in the 300 block of Berry Road in the Las Lomas area of North Monterey County turned up firearms reportedly stolen from Salinas. On the property, detectives also found six stolen vehicles with one reportedly stolen from the City of Monterey, according to the Monterey Police Department.
Detectives also seized ammunition, six ounces of meth , twelve ounces of cocaine, two ounces of heroin, narcotics paraphernalia and $13,000 in cash.
Gustavo Uribe Jr., 27, of Las Lomas was arrested on a variety of charges including possession of a controlled substance for sale, being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and ammunition and child endangerment.
Uribe was taken to the Monterey County Jail and his bail was set at $90,000. Uribe also had outstanding warrants for driving on a suspended license, burglary, and possession of stolen property totaling $95,000.
California Highway Patrol, Marina Police Detectives, Monterey Police Officers, the Multi Agency Detail for Commercial Auto Theft, and the District Attorney’s Office Investigators assisted the Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team detectives with the search warrant.
