Both lanes on 101 now open in Morgan Hill

UPDATE: 2/22/2017 9:26 a.m.: According to CHP all lanes on 101 are now open on both directions in Morgan Hill.

PREVIOUS STORY: Northbound lanes on Highway 101 at Cochrane Rd. in Morgan Hill are shut down because of flooding, according to California Highway Patrol.

Officers said traffic is being diverted onto Monterey Rd.

According to CalFire, a nearby levee connected to a canal which diverts water from Coyote Creek, broke open Tuesday morning and flooded the highway.
