Two arrested in Salinas Walmart parking lot

The Salinas Police Department’s Violence Suppression Unit and parole officers made a drug bust in the parking lot of Walmart on Davis Road.

Officers spotted 38-year-old Daniel Mora, a previously convicted felon on probation with a search waiver. He was with 37-year-old Rosetta Turturici.

A search of the cars associated with them turned up more than a pound of methamphetamine and several rounds of ammunition.

Mora and Turturici were booked into the Monterey County Jail for possession for sales of methamphetamine.
