School locks down after threatening texts
A.B. Ingham School in Salinas was put on lock down early Friday morning, after the school’s principal received a threatening text.
According to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, the principal received a text around 6:20 a.m. reading, “killing spree please.” The school contacted the Sheriff’s Office and two deputies responded to the school. They placed the school on lock down and remained on-scene until the lock down order was lifted at around 10:15 a.m..
The Sheriff’s Office says an investigation is underway.
