Police: One shooting suspect arrested the second on the loose

One person was arrested and the second is on the loose after a shooting on the 100 block of east Front Street Saturday.

Police said they responded to a report of shots fired just before 8 a.m. Upon arrival officers were met with a 20-year-old victim who was not harmed.

Two male suspects approached the home of the victim, one of them threw a rock at his window, police said. They said the victim went outside to see what happened. That’s when he saw both suspects and began to chase them, according to police.

Police said one of male suspect’s wearing all black with a skull mask covering his face, turned around and fired a shot at the victim, but missed. They say he was able to get away.

The second suspect, a 19-year-old, was later located at a nearby home, according to police. He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.

Police said the incident is being investigated as gang related.
