Highway 101re-opens after big rig flips near Gilroy
UPDATE 12/15/14 3:17p.m.: Highway 101 is back open after a big rig flipped and shut down lanes near Gilroy.
12/15/14 1:25p.m.: The northbound lanes of Highway 101 are blocked just passed Hwy 25, Bolsa Road in Gilroy after a big rig flipped.
The accident happened just before 12:30pm Monday as rain fell across the central coast.
Traffic was being diverted on Hwy 25 to Bolsa Road, no time estimate on when northbound lanes of 101 will re-open.
No word yet on the cause of the accident or if the weather conditions played a part.
