CHP: man taken to Hospital after vehicle accident

A man was taken to the Natividad Medical Center after a vehicle accident on Reservation Road near Portola Drive Wednesday.

The California Highway Patrol says a van heading westbound on Reservation Road failed to make a turn and ended up going straight into oncoming traffic hitting a BMW.

CHP says the BMV ended up falling into a nearby embankment. They say the driver was pulled out of the vehicle and taken to Natividad Medical Center.

CHP says they were forced to close Reservation Road in order to clean up the scene.
