Deadly accident near Boulder Creek shuts down highway

California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident on Highway 9 near the 19 Mile Marker just north of Boulder Creek.

CHP said one motorcyclist is dead after swerving into oncoming traffic. Another person was sent to the hospital. Highway 9 was shut down for several hours, but has since re-opened.
