Roadwork scheduled to begin on Ocean Avenue Sunday

Roadwork is scheduled to begin Sunday on Ocean Avenue in Monterey County and continue through Wednesday, April 16.

The work will include road grinding, asphalt paving and striping on Ocean Avenue between Hatton Road and Highway 1. Work will be done overnight, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., but motorists should anticipate delays of up to 20 to 30 minutes.

Alternative routes will be designated on Carpenter and Rio Road during construction hours.
