Local belly dancers to perform in support of YWCA

Local dance artists have come together for a common cause: to support the fight against violence toward women here on the Central Coast. Now you can join the effort by supporting a fundraising event and have some fun too.

“Belly Dance at the Oasis” kicks off Saturday April 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Jeanne Robinson Dance Arts Studio at 380 Monterey St. in Salinas. Come and join the fun and the artistry of professional dance artists as they perform 12 different numbers as individual dancers as well as troupe performances.

All the proceeds stay here and support the local Salinas YWCA and their efforts to shelter women away from violent environments.

Tickets are 10 dollars and are available now at the YWCA, Jeanne Robinson Dance Arts Studio or by calling 831-210-1084.

Don’t miss the fun and artistry of “Belly Dance at the Oasis”, you’ll be glad you attended.
