Pet of the Week: Meet Myy!
Meet Little Myy (aka Tortellini)! This beautiful pastel torbie came to us from Hitchcock Road Shelter. Little Myy is named after one of the Moomin characters and she is as mischievous as her namesake. She is a very playful, smart and curious girl. She is not shy and is quick to greet people and explore new places.
Myy is a spirited girl, who is a little bit sweet and a little bit sassy. Myy is still learning appropriate play behaviors with humans and tends to get very mouthy while playing. Additionally, she can become overstimulated or exhibit fear aggression in certain stressful situations (such as the vet). Therefore, she is looking for an adopter with previous experience with cats, ability to read a cat's body language. She'd do best in an adult-only home or a home with children over the age of 12.
Myy would like another young, energetic cat in the home as a playmate. She is respectful of older cats as long as she has someone to play with. She also seems to do well with small, cat-savvy dogs.
Myy is currently in foster care. An in-person meet and greet can be scheduled once an application has been received and approved.
