Small brush fire broke out in Salinas Thursday afternoon

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A brush fire broke out on Thursday afternoon near Garner Avenue east of Natividad Creek, KION reporters confirmed while on scene.

According to the KION reporter on scene, it looks like the fire stared to dwindle around 2:30 p.m.

KION has reached out to the Salinas Fire Department for confirmation, but are still waiting.
