Victim identified in traffic fatality overnight Wednesday on Old Stage Road

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The Monterey County Sheriff's Office confirmed Thursday that the victim in a solo vehicle crash that took place on Highway 101 Northbound south of Thorne Road in Salinas was 19-year-old Alexander Perea of Greenfield.

A Go Fund Me has been set up in Perea's honor.
