CHP: Coroner called out to crash scene along Reservation Road, confirmed victim’s ID

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The CHP confirms to KION a coroner has been called out to the scene of a crash along Reservation Road late Sunday afternoon.

The CHP said the crash happened near East Garrison Drive.

The coroner's office has identified 81-year-old Arthur Schoenstadt of Salinas as one of the drivers who died in the crash.

The CHP said Westbound traffic is being diverted through Watkins Gate while Eastbound traffic is being diverted onto East Garrison at this time.
