Marina piano teacher arrested for allegedly having lewd acts with a minor
MARINA, Calif. (KION-TV): Marina Police Department arrested 61-year-old Anthony Aiello, a piano teacher, for allegedly committing lascivious acts with a young boy under the age of 14 on Saturday night.
Marina Police said Aiello lured two boys into his apartment, and they said at least one young boy was touched over his clothes by the suspect.
Marina Police said the suspect began a piano session, then allegedly sexually assaulted one of the boys. Investigators said they're working to find out how the boys ended up in the suspects apartment.
"If he in fact did it I think it's disgusting and he needs to be locked up." said Gary Lofgren, who lives near Marina.
Authorities said the two boys did not have a piano session with the suspect, and they're looking to see if there are additional victims.
"We don't really know how long this has been going on with this particular suspect in this case, but we want to cover all of our bases and make sure the community is safe," said Detective Sergeant Bryan Whittaker with the Marina Police Department.
Lofgren hopes the family of the boy who was allegedly sexually assaulted finds strength.
"I feel very sorry for them, and I hope they're very supportive of their children and help him through this." said Lofgren.
