MLB legend Pete Rose has died according to multiple sources

LAS VEGAS, NV (KION-TV) -- Multiple sources confirm MLB legend and hit king, Pete Rose, has passed away at the age of 83.

The initial report came from TMZ Sports and was later confirmed during Sportscenter's postgame coverage of the Braves and Mets doubleheader.

"My father called me and I confirmed it with my 'brother,' Pete Rose Jr...Pete Rose passed away today," said Perez.

Rose earned 17 All Star Game appearances and still holds the career record for hits at 4,256.

Rose was a three time World Series Champion during his 24-season career.
