Monterey Police assist Marina Police with arrest of a suspect on multiple charges

MARINA, CALIF. (KION-TV)- Police and detectives for both Monterey and Marina arrested one person connected to a number of different charges.

On May 30th at around noon, officers and detectives from Marina and Monterey served a search warrant in the 3000 block of Kennedy Court in Marina. The investigation leading up to the search revealed that 37 year old Richard Hall of Marina committed a number of vehicle and storage locker burglaries in Monterey and Salinas. In total, Hall is suspected of burglarizing twenty different locations around Monterey County.

During the search, detectives found tools and equipment to make firearms, personal paperwork that belonged to other people, and other items that were previously reported stolen. Hall was also found to be in possession of illegal firearms.

Hall was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail for a number of different charges including burglary, possession of stolen property, identity theft and manufacturing firearms.
