Cloudy, cool and unsettled

Our unsettled weather continues. The low pressure system that brought widespread rain over the weekend is still moving south along our coast, throwing rounds of showers our way. High pressure to the southwest will build in for the weekend, with drier and warmer temperatures.

Wednesday: Partly-to-mostly cloudy, with isolated showers. Continued cool with highs in the mid 50s to mid 60s.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a light shower or two. Expect lows in the 40s for most areas, with a few 30s in the northern valleys.

Thursday: Light rain in the morning, then becoming partly cloudy. A bit cool with highs in the 50s-60s.

Extended: Warmer, more seasonable temperatures expected starting Friday through Easter weekend and beyond. No rain in the forecast through next week.
The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for April 15th – 21st calls for the likelihood of ABOVE normal temperatures and BELOW normal precipitation.
